Course description:

In this online course, we will focus on the teaching of vocabulary, receptive skills (reading and listening), grammar, functions and pronunciation. You will also learn how to plan and deliver effective student-centered lessons. The course will also focus on course material and resources as well as on how to teach online.

An initial Teacher Training Qualification focusing on the Teaching of English as a foreign language


Course content:

  • Lesson planning and delivery
  • Introduction to language analysis
  • Student-centered teaching, different types of practice and correction/feedback stages
  • How to transfer the skills from face-to-face teaching to an online environment
  • Material and resources



In order to participate in this online course, the participant will need to have good Internet connection and a computer with a camera and a microphone.

You will receive the link to the meeting software (virtual classroom) after having received the course confirmation.

This course is taught by one of our Cambridge CELTA/DELTA Tutors.

Important: Flying Teachers will not be able to provide you with any IT support. Basic computer skills are required for this training session.

This is a Flying Teachers course and is not an officially recognised course. The course is taught by our CELTA tutors but this course is not at all linked to Cambridge English Assessment.

Although Flying Teachers cannot guarantee any type of employment to course participants, a certificate of participation in this course as well as the TKT certificate are the requirements to teach online for Flying Teachers. Flying teachers will consider strong course participants for their data base of teachers who can teach online all over Europe.
